Beeta were commissioned by Improveasy to develop a website to drive Green Homes Grant leads into their system. Due to ‘Green Homes Grant’ government scheme taking effect in July 2020, Improveasy needed an easy and automated way to capture leads for eligible homeowners, landlords and tenants online so that they could follow up with further support and services. With the scheme coming to fruition imminently, we needed to turn this around as efficiently as possible to ensure our clients had a head start before the programme went live and the government started to take applications.
Our team were tasked with creating and building two lead capture pages, covering off the full process of design, front and back end development. We worked with our designers to gather detailed requirements and created the overall aesthetic and logo. Two design options were required to determine which route would be more successful for generating leads. The most critical part of the project was the design and development of the application form as it needed to be as user-friendly and intuitive as possible.
Improveasy needed an easily manageable online system of capturing and organising leads so they could register interested and eligible households before the official launch of the government scheme. To guarantee that the landing pages would work, the brief was to design two aesthetically different pages.
With over 650,000 houses eligible for the scheme, the application form had to be designed and built to be user friendly and accessible for all individuals. Our team worked to simplify and present the visuals in a way that increased usability, but the solution also needed to be responsive and easily manageable, so the team also helped to improve the backend of managing incoming leads.
The project went live in September, ahead of the Government taking applications and we have generated over 2000 leads so we can confirm the landing pages were a success! Not only did we work on the front and back-end of this project, we are also working on something much bigger to ensure that Improveasy have an updated, contemporary internal management system that is up to the standard of their competitors and much more efficient and streamlined – watch this space for further updates!
The project went live last month… and we have already generated over 2000 leads – Austin Barcley, Managing Director
